Colab is a high-growth Cape Town based business that builds and markets Fintech products that cater for Financial Service companies and Fund Administrators within Southern Africa as a primary market, before exporting globally. Our purpose is to find 1 million Southern Africans and pay them R2 billion ($143 million) in unpaid benefits in 2017/18.

Colab started in 2016 and has run 9 projects across the following companies: MMI, Nedbank Insurance, Sanlam, Lion of Africa, Harmony, Capitec, Alexander Forbes, 1970’s Fund. In total we have assisted to find 30,000+ individuals and pay them R30+ million in their unpaid benefits.

Founded and self-financed four companies in the Marketing, Technology and Financial Technology spaces. Apurimac Africa, Sizmek Africa, WhoDo, FindBEN/PayBEN
Exited MarkTECH company Sizmek Africa in 2016.

Chairman of the Media Credit Coordinators (MCC), 2014-2016, a non profit industry body, responsible for managing a $250 million (R2.9 billion) securities trust on behalf of JSE listed Naspers, Times Media, Caxton and the SABC.
